August 2026 Limited Edition: Carnelian, Peridot & Citrine

What is Ema's Elegance's August limited edition bracelet made of? The August limited edition bracelet pairs carnelian, peridot, and citrine, three stones Heather Davis strings together to represent courage, abundance, and clarity. Ignite your power, attract abundance, shine your light: that's the intention behind this one.

Every month, I create a new limited edition bracelet. This one I built on purpose: carnelian for courage, peridot for abundance, citrine for clarity, three energies I wanted united in a single piece.

Carnelian belongs to the chalcedony family, a microcrystalline form of quartz that rates 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. It forms in sedimentary rock, where silica-rich fluids slowly crystallize inside void spaces over long stretches of time, and iron oxide is what gives it that warm, fiery color. Peridot is the gem variety of olivine, formed deep in the earth's upper mantle and carried up through volcanic rock. It's also turned up in meteorites and comet dust. Citrine is a variety of quartz, rating 7 on the Mohs scale. Natural citrine is genuinely rare, most of what reaches jewelry benches today started as amethyst, heat-treated until it turns that golden color, often out of large geodes mined in Brazil.

In crystal traditions, carnelian is tied to courage, motivation, and creativity, the "I am ready" energy that turns intention into action. Peridot is linked to abundance and growth, the space you make for something new once you've decided what to leave behind. Citrine is associated with joy and manifestation, a reminder to notice your own power and build what comes next. I'll say what I always say: these are beliefs rooted in spiritual and cultural tradition, not scientifically proven claims. I paired these three because the combination means something to me: courage to begin, abundance to grow, light to shine.

As a Master Stone & Crystal Healer, I'm selective about the rough stone that makes it to my workbench, shaping and polishing each piece myself before it ever becomes jewelry. Every bracelet is strung one at a time using genuine AAA grade material, so no two ever turn out quite the same, each one refined by hand rather than a machine. The price reflects the stones that didn't make it through that process, and the hours that did, not a markup on something a machine could copy.

August's limited edition is up on my website now, alongside all my past limited editions. If you're ever in Boone, Iowa, stop by and see it in person. If you can't make it in, take a look online and discover the one that speaks to you.

Frequently asked questions

What do carnelian, peridot, and citrine mean together?

Together, this trio is meant to carry you from courage to abundance to clarity: carnelian gives you the courage to begin, peridot makes the space to grow, and citrine reminds you to shine. It's a combination Heather Davis built on purpose for August, meant to support mind, body, and spirit all at once.

What is carnelian?

Carnelian is a warm orange-red variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz that forms in sedimentary rock as silica-rich fluids slowly crystallize inside void spaces. It rates 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, and its color comes from natural iron oxide.

Are the healing properties of these stones scientifically proven?

No, these are beliefs rooted in spiritual and cultural tradition, not scientifically proven claims. Heather wears and creates with carnelian, peridot, and citrine because of what they mean to her personally, not because of any lab-tested result.

How do I care for a carnelian, peridot, and citrine bracelet?

Clean it with warm, soapy water, and skip the ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Peridot and citrine can both fracture from sudden temperature changes, and peridot is sensitive to acids like perfume and everyday perspiration, so store the bracelet separately and take it off before swimming, showering, or applying lotion.

Is the August limited edition really limited?

Yes, it's a one-time design Heather creates just for August, and once this batch sells through, this exact combination won't come back. Past limited editions stay listed on her website while supplies last, alongside whatever design she's created for the current month.
