Join Heather Davis at Ema’s Elegance in downtown Boone, Iowa, for a comprehensive Reiki Levels I & II certification experience.
This two-part course introduces students to the principles, techniques, and traditional practices of Reiki, a Japanese energy healing modality centered on relaxation, intention, and the gentle placement of hands.
Whether you’re completely new to Reiki or hoping to incorporate it into your existing spiritual or holistic wellness practices, this class provides an educational foundation and an opportunity to develop your skills through guided experience.
Wednesday, October 14 — Reiki Level I: The Foundations
Reiki Level I focuses on understanding Reiki and beginning your personal practice.
Topics include:
- The history, origins, and foundational principles of Reiki
- Understanding energy awareness and the traditional concept of life-force energy
- Introduction to the chakra system
- Hand positions and techniques for self-Reiki
- Practicing Reiki with others
- Grounding, intention, and energetic boundaries
- Developing confidence and trusting your intuition
- Reiki placement or attunement as appropriate to the teaching lineage
Level I emphasizes self-practice, personal exploration, and building a strong foundation.
Wednesday, October 21 — Reiki Level II: Deepening Your Practice
Reiki Level II builds upon your foundational knowledge and introduces additional techniques for working with Reiki.
Topics include:
- Traditional Reiki symbols and their meanings
- Understanding and practicing symbol applications
- Distance Reiki techniques
- Developing a more structured Reiki session
- Incorporating intention and intuitive awareness
- Practitioner ethics, consent, and energetic boundaries
- Additional guided practice
- Reiki Level II placement or attunement
Level II is designed to help students expand their understanding and confidence as they continue their Reiki journey.
Continued Practice & Support
Learning Reiki is about more than attending a class. It is about developing a practice that feels natural, ethical, and authentic to you.
While the two scheduled classes provide 10 hours of reserved instruction time, additional practice sessions will be arranged to allow students to gain hands-on experience, ask questions, and continue developing their skills.
Your $280 investment includes both Reiki Levels I & II and planned follow-up practice opportunities.
