Join us at Ema’s Elegance in downtown Boone, Iowa, for a guided community meditation focused on Ancestral Healing—an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your roots, and intentionally explore the patterns, wisdom, and experiences carried through generations. Note we will add 5 minutes of flow writing at the end of this meditation, bring a journal.
Ancestral Healing Meditation
Our stories don’t begin with us.
We are shaped by the generations that came before us—their experiences, traditions, strengths, struggles, and the ways they learned to move through the world.
During this guided meditation, we will create space to honor those who came before us while reflecting on what we want to carry forward and what we may be ready to release.
The meditation will focus on themes of:
• Connecting with your roots and ancestral wisdom
• Honoring the generations who came before you
• Recognizing and releasing generational patterns
• Creating space for healing and inner peace
• Strengthening your connection with yourself and your personal history
• Moving forward with greater intention and awareness
You do not need to know your complete family history or have any previous experience with ancestral work to participate.

This meditation is part of the donation-based Community Meditation series at Ema’s Elegance.
These gatherings are designed to make meditation, mindfulness, and spiritual exploration accessible to our community. No previous meditation experience is necessary.
Whether meditation is already part of your practice or you’re simply curious about ancestral healing, you are welcome to join us.
Come as you are. Find a comfortable place within the circle, settle into stillness, and give yourself permission to explore where you’ve come from—and what you choose to carry forward.
