Experience an immersive sound bath at Ema’s Elegance in downtown Boone, Iowa, led by Master Sound Healers Heather Davis and La Homa Simmonds, with Sound Healing Student Kara Knight joining the experience.
This two-hour sound healing experience is an opportunity to step away from everyday distractions, settle into stillness, and experience layers of sound and vibration in a comfortable and intentional environment. Expect the active sound experience to last around 1 hour, we will begin at roughly 6:15pm and last until roughly 7:15pm with time for community and grounding following.
What Is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a passive listening experience in which participants relax while sound healing instruments create layers of tones, frequencies, and vibration throughout the space.
Unlike a traditional meditation where you may be asked to concentrate on your breathing or maintain a particular focus, a sound bath allows you to simply get comfortable, listen, and experience the sound around you.
You don’t need previous experience with meditation or sound healing to participate.
What to Expect
During the evening, Master Sound Healers Heather Davis and La Homa Simmonds will create an immersive soundscape designed to support relaxation, stillness, and personal reflection.
Sound Healing Student Kara Knight will also participate in this sound bath as part of her continued sound healing education and experience.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and anything else needed to comfortably relax during the experience.
You may choose to lie down, close your eyes, meditate, quietly reflect, or simply listen.
There is nothing you need to accomplish.
This is time intentionally set aside to rest, receive, and reconnect with yourself.
